Brain Implant Technology to Restore the Movement and Feelings of a Person with Paralysis

A study was conducted to help people who have become disabled due to accidents. Ian Burkhart, 28, was almost completely paralyzed after his injury in 2010 and is now one of the first patients to show hope.

The research discovered technology that uses a new system of combining brain implants with software. This technology functions to read signals to restore movement and sense of touch.

As Syfy Wire reports launching the New York Post, Burkhart’s progress is the subject of a new paper published in the Journal Cell, United States. These findings could change the way doctors treat patients who are paralyzed.

Spinal cord injury can shut down motor function and sensory input to the affected limb. Researchers at the Battelle Memorial Institute are developing a new type of system for dealing with these tragic cases starting with brain implants.

Password Manager Makes Login Information More Secure

Password manager is an important service for storing passwords safely. Currently there are many password managers that can be used, free and paid.

A password manager is basically an encrypted digital vault that stores login information for accessing various applications on mobile devices , websites and other internet services.

Strong Security

Apart from that, the password manager also has good security features considering that a lot of important data is stored in it. The data, said Alfons, is encrypted in such a way so that it is not easily hacked by cyber criminals.

Reasons to Use Password Manager

Alfons revealed that there are several reasons to use a password manager . First, this service will be very useful if users have multiple accounts on various online services . This is because with a password manager , users will easily log in without having to enter different passwords for each service.

Besides that, the password …

5 Advanced Technologies to Protect Marine Species to Wild Habitats

Today, Friday (5/6/2020) is World Environment Day (WED). This annual moment encourages all people to raise awareness in protecting nature and planet Earth.

This year the focus is on protecting the world’s biodiversity or biodiversity . Biodiversity becomes a part of human life which is manifested from food to medicine.

According to the World Environment Day website , 87 of 115 global food crops depend on insect or animal pollination.

Biodiversity also helps prevent the effects of climate change as forests convert carbon dioxide into oxygen to the air we breathe while continuing to cool the Earth.

However, the world is now hit by a crisis of biodiversity. Last year, the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) found that one million species are threatened with extinction.

Technology was created to stem this threat. According to Google, here are 5 technologies that can protect biodiversity to celebrate World Environment Day.
