TCL introduced its latest C7L SQD Mini-LED TV in the Philippines, presenting it as the highlight of a broader effort to expand immersive entertainment technology. The product launch occurred at Nokal in Makati Central Square, where the company transformed the space into an interactive display of gaming, audio, and visual advancements.
SQD Mini-LED TV takes the spotlight
The C7L SQD Mini-LED TV uses TCL’s newest display technology to improve picture quality. The TV’s backlighting and contrast enhancements were demonstrated at the event, showing how it performs in fast-moving scenes typical of gaming and films.
Joseph Cernitchez, TCL’s brand manager, explained that the event aimed to move beyond technical details. “We wanted guests to engage with the C7L through gaming, entertainment, and shared moments,” he said. “The goal was to demonstrate how TCL builds experiences people can enjoy.”
Gaming monitors and party speakers expand the lineup
The launch also featured two new gaming monitors, the G64 and G54. Both models include high refresh rates and brightness levels suited for competitive gaming. The G54 offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 450 nits of brightness, along with TCL’s Precise Dimming Series.
TCL also released the TP300K and TP200K party speakers. The TP300K provides 340W of audio power, eight lighting presets, and up to 18 hours of playback. The TP200K delivers 220W of power, five lighting options, and 12 hours of battery life. Both are designed to work within the company’s entertainment system.
This approach ties together TVs, monitors, and audio into a unified experience. Users can switch from gaming to watching a movie or hosting a gathering without changing devices.
A night of games, music, and competition
The event included three zones: one for the C7L TV, another for gaming monitors, and a third for the new speakers. Attendees tested the products in realistic settings, playing games and listening to music at high volumes.
The main attraction was The Mastermind Game, a trivia contest with seven teams of media and influencers. The competition involved identifying games on screen, answering music questions, and performing TikTok dances. Winners received TCL products, but the event emphasized how the technology enhances different types of entertainment.
Later, the venue became an after-party, with the new speakers providing music. The shift from structured activities to an open dance floor highlighted the brand’s focus on both performance and enjoyment.
The C7L SQD Mini-LED TV is now available in the Philippines. No details on international release have been announced. The gaming monitors and speakers will follow soon, though pricing and exact dates remain undisclosed.
TCL’s strategy centers on creating a connected ecosystem. The TV’s display, the monitors’ gaming features, and the speakers’ audio are designed to work together. The company hopes consumers will adopt the full system, making entertainment more engaging. The launch made clear that TCL is committed to delivering a multisensory experience.
For those interested in high-performance displays, gaming monitors continue to evolve with new technologies.
